Unlike other lead generation platforms, we're different. You don't just turn off and on our platform and keep your fingers crossed that it will work. This is an adjustable, customizable program that has several ways for you to make it work best for your business needs. One way is the ability for you to adjust your spend and your number of calls each week using the eLocal budget cap feature.
What is the budget cap feature?
eLocal's budget cap feature is a way to ensure the weekly spend amount without having to go into your account and constantly monitor activity. This feature allows you to set your specified ceiling of calls per week.Upon hitting this number, we will not send you any more calls that week until the budget cap resets the following week.
How do I toggle the budget cap feature?
To set a budget cap, simply call our Customer Success team at 610-629-6449. They will take the time to discuss your situation and review the best options for your business. Making adjustments or removing your cap is just a phone call too Customer Success away.
What should I use the budget cap feature for?
You don't always have time to log into your dashboard and toggle your budget. That's why this feature was designed to make managing your budget easy and to best help you manage your spend. It's recommended you use the budget cap feature if you're worried about overspending on your eLocal program due to fluctuating business needs. For example, if you have a busy season, then a temporary budget cap is a good way to manage your eLocal calls.
What situations is the budget cap feature not good for?
The budget cap feature is not designed to be a permanent backstop for managing your spend. We don't recommend you limit your account indefinitely. If you're concerned about having enough resources to handle call volume, your Customer Success representative can discuss some strategies to best manage your customer load. (Examples could be temporary budget caps as you hire or a temporary account pause.) We realize that the needs are different for every business and that while having too many customers is a good problem, we want to help you make the most of your traffic.
We've designed the budget cap feature with the intent to help your business thrive: which means using it strategically is vital to your business' success. Should you have any concerns or questions, our Customer Success team is here to help.
